Event Overview
The Diriyah E-Prix put Saudi Arabia on the Formula E calendar for the first time in December 2018, with a second edition following in November 2019 — both held after dark on the Riyadh Street Circuit against the backdrop of historic Diriyah. As the season-opening round in both years, the race drew international teams and drivers to a circuit built specifically for night racing, with the Royal Cube serving as the event's premium hospitality venue overlooking the track.
Our Role & Delivery
Working with Designlab Experience, our team supported the interior build-out and finishing of the Royal Cube — the multi-level hospitality venue where guests could follow the race from a lounge, dining area, and rooftop terrace with a direct view over the circuit. The design leaned on timber lattice-work and Najdi-inspired detailing to root a very modern motorsport event in its Diriyah setting, giving VIP guests a space that felt distinct from the standard hospitality suite
