Event Overview
Boulevard World opened as part of Riyadh Season 2022, built around a central lagoon ringed by seven themed districts — among them recreations inspired by European, Chinese, and other global architectural styles — alongside rides, dining, and live shows spread across the site. Nightly fireworks over the lagoon became one of its signature moments, drawing crowds back through the season as the destination positioned itself as one of the larger entertainment additions to Riyadh's calendar that year.
Our Role & Delivery
Our team supported Sela with production work across Boulevard World's public realm, including lighting and show-support elements tied to the nightly fireworks and the facade lighting that carried the different districts' identities after dark. Across a site built at the scale of a small city, the work focused on keeping the lighting language consistent from district to district while still giving each themed zone its own character.
